Odlum Brown Uses Email Encryption

Confidential information should be for your eyes only. Odlum Brown uses Microsoft-powered email encryption to protect your information so that sensitive communication between you and your advisor is delivered securely with confidence.

How does it work?

When you receive an encrypted email notification from an Odlum Brown email address (@odlumbrown.com), you will receive a link to “Read the message.”

Clicking it will take you to a Microsoft portal that prompts you to click “Sign in with a One-time passcode.” Once you click that link, a separate email with your temporary passcode will be delivered to your inbox. Haven’t received your passcode?

If you haven’t received an email containing your temporary passcode under a sender named: “Microsoft Office 365 Message Encryption <[email protected]>", please check your spam/junk mail folders, as email filters may misplace these types of messages from time to time. If you run into any other issues, please contact your Odlum Brown investment advisory team.

It is good to note that this passcode expires within 15 minutes. If you require more time to complete the entry or did not receive your passcode in time, please click “get another one-time passcode” at the very bottom of the prompt to renew the passcode.

How do I securely reply or include attachments?

Once you’ve read the message, there will be options to securely reply or return documents. If you would like to securely send us confidential information in advance of us reaching out, please contact your Odlum Brown advisor to provide you with a secure method of delivery.
